Our East Michigan location in Oxford is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Cabinet/Closet CAD Tech to join our production and design team.
Position Summary:
The Cabinet/Closet CAD Tech plays a vital role in bridging the gap between design and production. This individual is responsible for reviewing design files, converting them into production-ready formats. This role ensures technical accuracy and efficiency throughout the design-to-production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and finalize 2D CAD drawings provided by design consultants to prepare them for production
- Convert design files into machine-readable formats for CNC routers and other tools
- Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure feasibility and clarity of designs
- Perform quality control checks to catch design or technical errors before production
- Ordering cabinetry components
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD software (Cabinet Vision and/or Closet Pro experience highly preferred; but not required)
- Understanding of woodworking, cabinet construction, or manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across departments
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Highly motivated and willing to learn
- Able to work 7:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
